In February of 2009, Jean-Pierre Punsola founded Just Pure Taste to offer food and beverage companies the advantages of an external R&D network. Driven by a culinary approach with an emphasis on pure ingredients and a sensory experience, our team successfully balances a global perspective with highly specialized knowledge in order to offer clients a well rounded yet differentiated solution.

Each member of our team is hand selected to represent a variety of cultural and technical backgrounds in order to offer our clients a customized approach. This range of experience and global taste is united by a shared passion and curiosity for the edible world.

Our Founder & Chief Taste Architect

With over 20 years experience as an executive in the food industry , Jean-Pierre Punsola is a true global food leader. After earning a Masters degree in food engineering in France, Punsola continued his education and went on to pursue an additional Masters degree in the science of oenology, followed by a degree in the program of executive general management from INSEAD, the world’s leading graduate business school.

Punsola applied this comprehensive education in a variety of positions at premium international brands in the USA, Europe and Asia. Punsola developed his expertise at Chocolat Poulain/Cadbury France and Kraft Foods with a range of roles and growing responsibilities in the quality, human resources, production and research & development functions. Most recently, two noteworthy positions include VP of R&D and Quality at Lindt & Sprungli and Senior VP of Global R&D and Quality for Godiva Chocolatier (Campbell’s). His contribution to the development of these corporations in executive leadership roles and his passion for food and taste would later inspire Punsola to found Just Pure Taste in February of 2009.
